Download your game

MP4 is best for everyday sharing. ProRes MOV is for editing and creates larger files. Select a Transparent (alpha) battlefield background to preserve transparency in MOV, Transparent WebM, or GIF; other video exports use black.

GIF uses 640px with still frames merged. MP4, MOV, and transparent WebM load a 31 MB encoder on first use and have a 256 MB file limit. Processing stays on your device. Higher resolutions need more time and memory.

Welcome to Misplay.

Misplay is a lightweight fan app for playtesting Magic: The Gathering decks on mobile or desktop and creating GIFs or overlays of play games and combos — for your videos or sharing with the community.

Arrange your cards, record each step, then download your game or share a link.

Load a deck

Load your cards from a deck file.

TXT: quantity and card name per line. CSV: Name and Quantity columns. MTGO: .dek files. Up to 200 cards total; sideboards and up to two commanders go into their own zones.

Reveal top cards

Pull up slightly → Hand · Pull farther up → Battlefield
Pull down slightly → Library bottom · Pull farther down → Graveyard
Drag sideways onto another card to swap. Confirm applies changes; × cancels.

Keep your deck loaded?

Start a new game with an empty timeline. Keep your deck to return your cards to the library, with sideboard cards and commanders in their zones. Opponent cards and copies are cleared.

Recording Settings

Choose the zones shown in shared playback and video / GIF downloads.

Battlefield only includes the combat area and opponent’s battlefield when visible, plus placed dice and markers. Hands, life totals, deck, sideboard, graveyard, exile, and command zone are hidden. Your recorded cards are kept in every zone.

The editor and its controls are never included in downloads.
